Kris Hillen @ The Frame Station

Kris Hillen is a Huntington native, artist, and musician. He has worked extensively on various artistic collaborations designing countless flyers, album art and logos for many of the musicians he has worked with over the years. Over the past decade has been concentrating on watercolor painting.

      “Lately, I am obsessed with the Appalachian landscape. I sometimes like to think of all the people who’ve ever lived here.  I imagine all the stories that still echo through the valleys and spirits that climb these ancient hills. The timeless energy that I cant help but think lends itself to the natural beauty and mysticism radiating in every tree or creek. I try to convey that feeling in my art through color, content and style.”
